From the North Carolina Zoo:

Next week is the North Carolina Zoo’s first Living with Nature distance learning event for the 2020-2021 academic year. This is the North Carolina Zoo’s third year of offering these free programs for schools and homeschools. The events are designed for middle school and high school students and focus on animal behavior & biology, wildlife conservation, careers, and green practices. This year, the format is 30-minutes, with two 15-minute segments. During each segment, an expert that works at the Zoo (e.g., veterinarian, Zoo Keeper, conservation biologist) will speak. The event will take you around the Zoo – virtually – to places guests can’t usually go. The event webpages have pre-, post- and during the event activities that go along with the experience. This program is FREE but registration is required. To learn more or to register visit – Living Nature Distance Learning Events
