Bladen County Is Recruiting for FirstGen 4-H Leaders-in-Training

Bladen County 4-H is looking for youth to apply to participate in a leadership training through 4-H this summer. Applicants will apply by April 30, 2018 to the local 4-H office in Bladen County and be notified if selected as the county’s delegates by May 7, 2018. Scholarships are available to cover this activity. Rising 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be considered.

Expectations of selected individuals include:

  1. Attend Leadership training on campus at NC A&T State University in Greensboro on June 18 – 21, 2018 (Transportation from Elizabethtown will be provided)
  2. Work with local 4-H Staff and Volunteers to promote 4-H and increase 4-H participation in under-served audiences in Bladen County
  3. Learn more about 4-H and share information with others
  4. Volunteer with 4-H Summer Programming
