It’s that time of year – when children are out of school for the summer and parents are looking for productive learning activities that are fun for them to do! We have something for youth in Bladen County that are interested in foods, science, animals, health, and more. Check out the 2016 4-H Summer Fun Schedule here. Required forms are included in this post as well.
Registration dates are as follows: Bladen County currently enrolled 4-Hers can enroll from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 27 and 31 (Our office will be closed on May 30 to celebrate Memorial Day).
The registration will open to the general public on Wednesday, June 1 at 9 a.m.
Registration must be done in person ONLY at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Office at 450 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown, NC 28337. Media Release and Medical forms including current HEALTH INSURANCE information are required to officially register for a class (currently enrolled 4-Hers should have one on file already). We will not hold spots without completed forms. Be prepared to take as much as twenty minutes to register each child. Parents will need a Driver’s License (or some form of picture ID) and health insurance information for their registered child(ren).
Do not make out checks until you arrive as space is limited for each class and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. This will ensure that checks are made out for the correct amount.
